My Firefox Cyclone Bike

I was planning toOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA buy a bike (not motor bike 🙂 ) since last few months. I was aware of brands like hero, BSA-herculis, firefox, trek….. I was a bit confused amongst them. but I was sure of what I needed. A hardtrail bike with alloy frame, shimano gears and good brakes within budget of 10000 INR. I visited Firefox shop in plaza mall, Gurgaon and saw a few models. I liked trek 3700 but it was over budget for me at 18000+ INR . I also thought of firefox target which costs about 12700 INR. But when I compared target and cyclone I felt there is not much difference between two. Target has alloy handle bar, alloy V-breaks and different brand tires and pedals (not sure if they better) . Other than these its almost same as cyclone. I also had to buy a bike carrier for car so I thought that cyclone with bike carrier would be a VFM deal for me. I held bike on car and got it at home. Initially I felt a bit nervous with bike hanging at boot and was driving slow. But then after few km I drove at normal speed and carrier held bike firmly on bumpy Gurgaon faridabad road. I ride everyday about 5-6 km. So far I have really enjoyed ride and happy with gears and suspension.Bike weights about 14 kg and ride is very light on flat roads.Overall its a pleasure to ride this bike in early morning breeze. I am planning for longer trips in winter and would carry bike to himachal for more fun in October 🙂OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
